Training Update
Nothing has changed, in that I’m not actually training for anything, but I am hoping to start running this Saturday, and I’m trying to stay in some kind of shape (other than round) for when I’m back to running!
Monday: I started the week with a bike ride. I’m still 3 days away from my Peloton, so this ride was outdoors. Luckily, we are actually experiencing Spring here in the South, and it hasn’t gone above 80 yet. Score!

Tuesday: 1.5 mile walk plus PT. I haven’t been having pain lately, maybe one day out of 6, which is awesome!!!
Wednesday I taught yoga on Zoom. It’s kind of crazy, but at least I get to hang with my peeps and do yoga together. I can’t wait until we can meet up again!
Thursday I took a one mile walk while I waited for my husband to pick me up from my eye appointment. These guys asked me to join them, but I had to go! I also did a little climbing with friends.
Friday was a rest day.
Saturday, the hubs and I rode our bikes on the Greenway where I usually run. It was amazing and I got to see some peeps from my running club. We also stopped at my friend Toni’s house so I could try out her NordicTrak bike.
Sunday was another rest day. The bike ride made me feel stiff, I’m. It used to all of this activity!
What was your favorite activity last week?

Staying Home with Knockaround Fast Lanes
I received a sweet pair of Knockaround Fast Lanes as part of being a BibRave Pro (ambassador). Check out BibRave.com to find and write race reviews.
We have been on Stay at Home orders for about 8 weeks now. Add this to my knee injury and things started out pretty dreary. And then my shiny new Knockaround Fast Lanes arrived! They're so pretty! They are also super versatile...
I used them to participate in a photo reenactment challenge. I cannot for the life of me find the original pic, but it might have been a Kardashian? I don't know!
You can wear them while you stop to smell the roses.
You can wear them on a bike ride, that is basically the same 1/3 mile loop around the block, because you're supposed to stay on flat ground. The Carolinas are hilly, y'all.

| Please say hello to Kevin Bacon, Bacon Bits, and Kyra Sedgwick. |
You can loan them to one of your flying pigs....
They look great with the hat you get for your Stay at Home Birthday
They even look cute in a Snap Filter
This was from the Insta Live Dance Party hosted by Hot Chocolate 15k and Knockaround
They also match my Star Wars day outfit!
Luckily, I have access to some great outdoor activities. My neighborhood has a trail that runs through it, and I can ride my bike or walk for miles without leaving it. I know that others aren't so blessed, and I've been taking advantage of it as much as my knee can stand it.
Let's get down to the details now.
Mine are called Neon Summer, but there are so many other varieties! They are bound to have a color or pattern that you love!
The lenses are mirrored and polarized
UV400 protection
FDA approved impact resistant lenses (so key for me, I am rough on my shades)
Cute pouch for storage
They have so many other styles as well, and even a design your own option!
These are probably my 10th pair of Knockaround sunnies. The Boy has stolen so many of them, but I have managed to keep a few pairs hidden for my own use. I am pretty sure that these neon pink ones will be safe!
Order now, they are offering FREE shipping on all orders!
Which pair will you order?

Training Update
Ok, I’m not technically training for anything. I guess I’m training to be ready to train for a race, if that makes any sense! I’ve definitely been feeling very sorry for myself, I’m not gonna lie, but it’s time to pull up my big girl pants and start posting about it.
My walks are slow and my rides are deliberately slow, but I’m getting there!
Monday:
PT. I pretty much dread this, it’s sometimes painful to do, and almost always painful the next day, but it’s so worth it! I’m up to 9 exercises, and usually do a combination of 6-7 of them every other day. I have to do them 3 times a week, so I mix it up however I feel at the time.
Tuesday: 20 minute bike ride and a 10 minute walk

Wednesday: taught yoga on Zoom and then did PT. Definitely sore after, but only temporarily!
Thursday: 1.25 mile walk
Friday I took a rest day.
Saturday, I went for a thirty minute ride. It felt amazing and I had a pain free day for the first time since November! Fabulous!
Sunday was my third PT day, and a low pain day which was great!
Also on the horizon.... I ordered a Peloton! I’m so excited, but I’m dying because I have to wait for it to be delivered! To keep me going, I’ve been shopping for the things I’ll need and also making a Pinterest board with setup ideas. It’s the little things. I’ll leave you with the countdown...
